Canadian Operating Room Leadership (CORL) Toronto Conference Presentation: "Interdepartmental Relations"

Randy Heiser, President and CEO of Sullivan Healthcare Consulting Canada Co. (SHC), recently presented a session entitled, “Interdepartmental Relations” at the 2008 Canadian Operating Room Leadership (CORL) Network Conference in Toronto.  Randy Heiser, an industry expert in the areas of Scheduling and Resource Utilization, spoke on the important role of the Perioperative Team and the OR Manager in implementing “Best Practice” strategies during Presurgical Screening, Day Surgeries, Holding, and the PACU.  Mr. Heiser also spoke on the importance of “Best Practice” strategies in materials management and the Sterile Processing Department (SPD).
