Healthcare Supply Chain Network Conference Presentation: "The Role of the Perioperative Materials Manager"

(SHC), recently participated in the first annual Healthcare Supply Chain Network Conference in Canada.  Bill Bailey, Vice President of SHC and an industry leading expert on Surgical Supply Chain Management, presented a session entitled, “The Role of the Perioperative Materials Manager.”  In his presentation, Mr. Bailey outlined the vital role of the Perioperative Materials Manager in implementing the “Best Practice” surgical supply chain model, thus ensuring standardization of practice, quality of patient care and reduction of operating costs.
